Architected and built Nirvana AI from scratch — an internal AI platform where anyone at the company can pull data, build tools, and automate workflows without writing code. Instead of structured tool calls, the agent writes Python against a custom SDK wrapping every system the platform touches. Three and a half months in: 63,000+ conversations, ~16M agent events at 59% DAU/MAU, and 1,014 live apps built by employees across every department. Won Nirvana's Pinnacle Award, one of six peer-nominated awards given across the company each year.

Nirvana Insurance — Software Engineer II

Owned the risk-and-pricing layer of the underwriting platform. Led RiskIQ end to end — the automated system that turns an underwriter's risk assessment into standardized, guardrailed pricing. Built the appetite and referral rules engine and VIN Visibility, and helped launch Business Auto, building its underwriting and pricing workflow end to end.

Owned core pieces of the quoting and underwriting platform: scaled the in-house forms platform into the production backbone behind every issued document, built the App Review workspace underwriters use to evaluate fleets, the rules engine automating underwriting authority, and much of how a quote gets priced.

Skipped campus placements (Google, Amazon, Atlassian) to join a ~10-person, pre-revenue startup as its first intern — employee #14. Built three foundational backend systems from scratch — the insurance forms platform, the product-analytics backbone, and the telematics-connection flow — and converted to full time through a pre-placement offer. The company is now valued at $1.5B after its Dec 2025 $100M Series D.

NIT Uttarakhand student strike, digital outreach lead

Oct – Dec 2018

Ran digital outreach for a 60-day student strike over the institute's campus. Worked with journalists and anchors at nearly every national media house, and helped create footage that ran on prime time, some of it with me in the frame (NDTV, Aaj Tak, Zee News, The Quint). The strike ended with a cabinet-level delegation and the institute's relocation.
